When you surf the web, I want you to know, make sure your parents know the places that you go
the web is awesome and there’s so much you can do, but remember what I say when you go online to play
take your brain with you.
Sometimes you’re online, at the end of the day, when something weird happens and makes you feel afraid
just stop what you’re doing and go get Mom and Dad, leave it all on the screen so they’ll know what you mean, they won’t be mad.
Sometimes there’s a bully, who’s being mean, they’re calling you names and some words you’ve never seen
but don’t talk back now, leave the whole thing on the screen, show your Mom and Dad, cuz they’ll know what to do
it’s not your fault, it’s just what mean people do, don’t let it make you sad.
Last but not least, I’ll share this with you, a little thing I call the cyber-golden rule
it’s really simple so, you’ll remember it just fine, if you wouldn’t do it in real life
don’t do it online!
